Selectmen's Meetings

Selectmen's Meetings are held on Mondays of each month at 7:00 pm. They are carried live on Millis Community Media. Check monthly listings for replay times.

Finance Committee Meetings

The Finance Committee meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm during the budget season prior to Fall and Spring town meetings. The meetings are carried on Millis Community Media. Check monthly listings for replay times.

Planning Board Meetings

The Planning Board meets on Tuesdays once a month at 7:30 pm. The meetings are carried live on Millis Community Media. Check monthly program listings for replay dates and times.

Millis Town Meetings

Town meetings are held twice a year in November and May at 7:30 pm. The meetings take place in the Millis Middle/High School Auditorium. The meetings are carried live on Millis Community Media. Check monthly listings for times.

Millis After Dark

This public affairs program features people and places of interest in town. It includes studio and field segments. Episodes have included groundbreaking for the new police station and dedication of the Herman Downing Emergency Operations Management Center, as well as tours of the fire and police stations. In addition, other episodes feature plans for improving town atheletic fields, the renovation of the Millis Bandstand and Niagara Hall, and upgrades at the Transfer Station and Prospect Hill Cemetery. An overview of the Millis Housing Authority has also been featured. Check monthly listings for times.

Health, Wellness and Consumer Programs

Millis Community Media features many programs on health, wellness and consumer education. Most are produced by Patty Kayo, Director of the Council on Aging. Recent programs addressed ID theft and scams, senior housing advocacy, caring for loved ones with dementia and a presentation on the Prescription Advantage program.  Check monthly listings for times.

Gardening and Nature Programs

Gardening and Nature programs are produced by the Millis Garden Club. Programs include "Heirloom and Native Plants" with John Forti of the Mass. Horticultural Society, "Art in Bloom", Bees, Butterflies and other Pollinators", and "Ten Herbs to Know & Grow" with Karen O'Brien. Check monthly listings for times.

Millis Public Library Programs

Millis Public Library offers programs on Millis Community Media. They are presented by the Friends of the Library. Featured programs include Rosa Parks: Her Story and Image" with Wellesley College Prof. Brenna Greer - a Millis Reads event for 2017, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Steve Kurkjian's presentation on the Gardiner Museum art heist, author/journalist Ted Reinstein on his book, "Wicked Pissed: Great Feuds of New England" and antiquarian book dealer/appraiser Ken Gloss. 

Mohawk Sports

A variety of boy's and girl's varsity sports are covered during the school year. Check monthly listings for dates and times.

Millis Historical Society and Millis Historical Commission Presentations

The Millis Historical Society presents a number of special programs throughout the year. Topics include  Gallow's Hill: The Wirch Trials of Salem,""The Early Dairy Farmers of East Medway," "Rememberances of Millis", "The Life and Images of Walter Prescott",  "The History of the Jewish Hotels of Millis", "George Holbrook and His Bells", and Paul LaCroix's presentation of his dig at the Fairbank's Stone House. In addition, the Millis Historical Commission features programs about its work, including the restoration of Niagara Hall, the Town Bandstand and the town's Historical and Cultural Heritage Management, including the Ellice School.
